Questo studio analizza le pratiche sessuali a rischio degli adolescenti e dei giovani tra i 15 e i 34 anni di Parakou, in Benin. Evidenzia tre comportamenti critici: il debutto sessuale precoce, i partner multipli e il mancato uso del preservativo. Basandosi sui dati di un’indagine condotta nel 2022, analizza le principali influenze quali età, sesso, religione, livello di istruzione e consumo di alcol e droghe.I risultati rivelano che una percentuale significativa di questa popolazione adotta questi comportamenti, compromettendo la propria salute e il futuro della società. Questo studio offre uno sguardo illuminato sulle sfide della sessualità giovanile e pone le basi per un’azione concreta di prevenzione, in particolare contro l’HIV e altre infezioni sessualmente trasmissibili. Una lettura essenziale per comprendere e agire sui temi cruciali della salute sessuale.
