Die Frage nach dem kausalen Zusammenhang zwischen Demokratie und wirtschaftlicher Entwicklung ist offensichtlich auch für die Weltpolitik von Interesse. Beides, sowohl Demokratisierung als auch wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, sind Ziele, die es in der Entwicklungspolitik umzusetzen gilt. Doch welches der beiden hat Priorität?
