Il presente lavoro mira a estrarre e analizzare gli indici spettrali: NDWI (superficie acquatica e umidità), NDSI (superficie del suolo), NDVI (vegetazione), nel Geoparco di Mgoun (Alto Atlante Centrale del Marocco) a partire da immagini satellitari multitemporali provenienti dai sensori Landsat 4-5 TM e Landsat 8 OLI dal 1984 al 2015, utilizzando software di elaborazione di tali immagini. È stata analizzata una cronologia di immagini (1984, 1987, 1995, 2002, 2007, 2010, 2014, 2015) e, per tenere conto della vegetazione e delle superfici d’acqua pulite del territorio e permanenti, abbiamo scelto quelle dei mesi di giugno e luglio.
