Ils permettent dans des conditions adaptées, la mise en oeuvre de réactions chimiques et ce, de manière efficace. Le fonctionnement de ces appareils est complexe et nécessite le développement de modèles simplifiés de réacteurs afin de résoudre les équations de bilan de matière, d’énergie et de quantité de mouvement.Le présent cours traite des modèles simplifiés de réacteurs et a pour objectif de développer les équations générales de bilan, dimensionnement et optimisation des réacteurs idéaux dans lesquels sont conduites des réactions homogènes afin de permettre des estimations rapides des performances de ces appareils.
