Le domaine des lasers à fibre s’est développé très rapidement au cours de la dernière décennie. Cependant, les lasers à fibre basés sur la fibre dopée à l’erbium (EDF) sont les plus développés ces dernières années. La fibre dopée à l’erbium (EDF) représente un moyen de gain dans ce travail parce qu’elle a la capacité d’amplifier la lumière dans la région de longueur d’onde de 1550nm. Dans cette recherche, le laser à fibre dopée à l’erbium (EDFLs) à commutation Q a été démontré en utilisant deux nanomatériaux 2D différents : le disulfure de molybdène (MoS2) et le disulfure de tungstène (WS2) en tant qu’absorbeur saturable. Dans un premier temps, la SA MoS2 a été préparée en exfoliant mécaniquement le cristal MoS2 et en prenant en sandwich le liquide WS2 acquis entre deux ferrules de fibre. Le dispositif SA a été incorporé dans la cavité EDFL en anneau pour générer un train d’impulsions Q-switché stable fonctionnant à 1559,16 nm.
