The physical and psychological conditions of medical students are crucial to their academic performance. Faced with the countless novelties and challenges of their training, medical students are required to frequently use and create cognitive and emotional resources to support their adaptation to new environments. This study assessed the General Quality of Life and the Trait and State of Anxiety in students at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (FAMED/UFMS) in 2015.
