This book aims to discuss the intersection between two complex areas for the human sciences: violence against women and women’s illness. Through access to a support centre for women in situations of violence, it was possible to address these issues by considering the various actors involved. These include the management of the centre, the professionals involved and, of course, the cases attended by the service in which this relationship is present.
