Wie sieht das urbane Heranwachsen im 21. Jahrhundert aus? Mónica Brude und ihr interdisziplinäres Team, das sich aus Fachleuten zusammensetzt, die sich mit der bio-psycho-sozialen Gesundheit junger Menschen in der heutigen Zeit befassen, untersuchen diese Fragen seit 2003. Im Jahr 2006 schlossen sie die erste Untersuchung 'Adolescencia en Riesgo I' (Adoleszenz in Gefahr I) ab, die von der Revista de Investigaciones de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, Argentinien, veröffentlicht wurde. Das Team setzte die Feldarbeit in Sekundarschulen in Buenos Aires fort und erarbeitete als Fortsetzung der Veröffentlichung von 2006 eine neue Studie mit dem Titel 'Adolescencia en Riesgo II', die vor kurzem abgeschlossen und bei dieser Gelegenheit veröffentlicht wurde. Die professionelle Arbeit mit Jugendlichen in den Bereichen Gesundheit, Bildung und/oder Justiz erfordert schnelle und wirksame Reaktionen auf neue Probleme und Pathologien. Soziale Netzwerke spielen durch ihr positives Handeln eine wichtige Rolle bei der Unterstützung und Begleitung des gesunden Wachstums junger Menschen.
