El protagonista, Jeremías Pechoabierto, tiene una gran motivación y esta es la de un canto a la libertad que se logra mediante la protesta y el método de no violencia. La paz espiritual, el amor, el respeto y la eterna admiración por Gandhi se ven reflejados en estas narraciones llenas de reflexión y vida. Los hechos, las medidas del gobierno y otros acontecimientos son expuestos desde el punto de vista del protagonista de esta breve historia. Es un libro de muy fácil lectura, ameno y entretenido que provoca reflexión por las diferentes situaciones que se presentan en tiempos de tensión y miedo. No hay verdades absolutas: se encuentran al escucharse atentamente y, en esa medida, es cuando nos aproximamos a la verdad. Gandhi en cuarentena te va a sorprender mucho porque es un canto a la vida y a la libertad. La historia de un ser humano que sufre, que acomete, que se revela pero que nunca se rinde.
