Auf der Grundlage eines Satzes von Windgeschwindigkeitsdaten von einem meteorologischen Turm im Kernkraftwerk Almirante Álvaro Alberto (CNAAA) in Angra dos Reis (RJ) wurde eine Methode vorgeschlagen, bei der Fourier-Reihen, Transformationen und inverse Transformationen als Interpolationstechniken verwendet werden, um Lücken in Windzeitreihen zu füllen. Die Ergebnisse waren zufriedenstellend und zeigen, dass die in diesem Buch vorgestellte Technik als Methode zum Füllen von Lücken in Windzeitreihen verwendet werden kann.
