It’s difficult, when you have so many years, to write a biography, which would be very long, and, if abbreviated, it’s impossible. That I was born in Campo de Criptana is a fact. That I studied high school and teaching, too. That I stayed in the first year of Philosophy and Literature/History, because I soon found work and, to some extent, became independent, living life to the fullest. With a degree in Tax Law and Tax Consulting, I worked in that industry for 25 years. But I also worked at Campofrío, at Gispert, with Casamitjana Mensa (Conejo Products). As CEO of Comundi, S.A., I was drawn to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Then, my experiences in the hospitality industry on the island of Fuerteventura, which was born there. Accountant at Casa Atlántica, General Accountant at Hotasa/Rumasa (Hotel los Gorriones), General Manager of Stella Canaris (I took it from 800 to over 3,500 beds in two years), hotels from Palamox to Torremolinos, ending up as the Representative of Viajes Rivercar, during its traumatic bankruptcy, and closing its most prized travel agency branch in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. And now, I’m returning to my roots, which I never completely abandoned: writing. For 2017, I hope to write a book of short stories, a short novel, and another novel.Living in these uncertain times makes me value every day and every moment as elements of change and improvement for our society.
