From the Pulpit includes sermons preached and poetry written over a 60+ years career. Jerry M. Self pastored churches in Oklahoma, Texas and Tennessee. He taught at college and graduate levels. His most often repeated classes were in biomedical ethics and living world religions. Previous publications include Men and Women in John’s Gospel ( a book of sermons), a novel about fifth graders Holy War at Anasazi Elementary, and two adult themed novels: Who Says How She Died, and Who Knows How We are Made.
