Louise, the narrator’s daughter, who is a medical student, has been recruited for a professional placement in one of the most prestigious hospitals in the country, on the west coast of Wales. Once she has arrived there she has to work hard to keep up with more advanced students, and face mysterious cases of unexpected deaths in the ward. Disagreements between the trainees from all over the world will then surface, and all of them will tend to watch each other while trying to prove their innocence. The girl from SC3 will have more than her fair share of opportunities to display her linguistic abilities, but will sometimes choose to hide them. Will she prove able to help the police solve the mystery of the suspicious deaths?
