The study seeks to identify the critical point at which carcinoma in situ transforms into invasive carcinoma. In this work, we investigated the relationship between p16INK4a expression and cervical carcinoma in situ and invasive carcinoma, in addition to monitoring the evolution of these nosological entities, relating it to p16INK4a expression. The data are very interesting in the search for this knowledge.
