There is an old expression - If you don’t know where you are going, how can you get there? My view has always been that there are two main paths to our future. One is to not have any idea of what you want to do in your life. This course may initially be the easiest road to take, but it usually ends up with years flying by and you are stuck in a boring life of mediocrity. Many people chose and prefer what I would call 'the easy way out'. The other main path is to really talk to yourself about what you want to do with your life. That means setting goals and being fully committed to working as hard as you can to achieve them. You may not get to exactly where you want to be, with very little to reflect on your accomplishments, but your life had a purpose and you wanted to do something with it. This is the route I chose. It is not the easy path, but for me, it was the most satisfying road to take. My story is a combination of both my corporate journey and the impact it had on my personal life. Life is filled with choices we all have to make. The path I chose came at a price in my personal life, but we get through those challenges and move on. As I look back at my career, having worked and lived in Mexico and Europe for over fifteen years, this book tells my journey. The path I chose was an exciting and sometimes dangerous one, but I have been blessed to have made it through. Hopefully you will get a sense and feel of my journey through life. I hope you enjoy.
