This paper deals with the topic of friendships that arise, are lived and experienced in both real and virtual environments. It also explores whether a change in the quality of a friendship can be detected when children and young people use social online networks. The paper consists of a theoretical section and empirical research, which was conducted quantitatively with the aid of a questionnaire.
