This book tells the experiences of my mother and her siblings during the years of the Great Depression. It is the story as it was told to me by my mother, and some of her stories came from her aunt, who helped raise them. Some of the stories are from my grandfather?s telling. I have tried to keep the vocabulary simple enough for older children who may want to understand a little better about this period in our country?s history.
