It has been a time in life that reading was her escape from going to bed earlier as writing has become her escape, and outward expression. Some say that Chandler’s just a thinker, but life’s experiences, with love, hurt, pain, downfalls, transitions, and spiritual growth has inspired her to write this book. Chandler received her Associates of Science at Wake Tech, Bachelors of Science Accounting at Strayer University, and expected Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University in 2012. In poetry, Chandler takes you through life’s journeys its ups, and downs, focused to motivate, inspire through life’s situations with love, relationships, friendship, leading the way to spirituality, and spiritual growth. You wouldn’t have to meet her to know her personality, or how ones emotions are at given times, it’s shown in her poetry. In 'Lesson Learned' you can feel betrayal, In 'Encouraging & Thinking' she speaks of her spiritual growth and desires, showing the transition from the world to Christianity. Her poetry reminds readers that though life can engulf you there is light at the end of the tunnel. Chandler resides in North Carolina while reading has always been one of her joys in life most favorite as a little girl writing poetry and songs her spoken passion. Poetry has been the voice of life’s ups and downs; and brought much comfort to family, and friends. In Chandler’s poems you will hear the emotional, heartache, love, and pain from life’s struggles to a change, and spiritual gain. On the contrary poetry also includes some poems inspired by family friends. Find out more about author, events, on www.smchandler.com

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular.
