I honestly wasn’t sure about it since billionaire romances are usually a hit or miss for me, but this one turned out to be a hit. I hadn’t read the blurb before diving in, so I really wasn’t too sure what to expect from this story. I’ll admit that a few chapters in, I thought that it might turn out to be another predictable billionaire/forced marriage romance, but it wasn’t at all. Daniel Dufort is being blackmailed into marriage, but that’s not entirely the focus of this story. It’s when Daniel meets romance author Harper Kane at his Hawaii hotel that this story really takes off. The attraction between Daniel and Harper is instant, and it isn’t long before Harper has Daniel questioning all of his priorities. This book is steamy, a little angsty, and has a touch of suspense to keep you turning the pages. Sinful Duty is the first book that I’ve read by Juliette N.
