Great leaders inspire by example.  The right to lead, and to lead with purity of purpose and determination, is earned. Then there are those who try to get the audience to look at this leader in a different angle -- the side where everything he does is wrong, or unprecedented, or unconstitutional, and therefore would cause the downfall of the country.  Whatever he is accused of, this same group, faced with similar circumstances, had already done -- but got off easily. It was not considered a punishable offense at that time.  Someone was orchestrating the game, making sure rules were changed at convenient times.  The puppet master saw to it the good leader appeared off sync, incompetent, unpresidential, unworthy of people's trust.  The leader had now succeeded in bringing unity and strength to the nation, and was looked up to as the anointed one, yet he was set up to play the villain. The lesson learned here is that some acts have different outcomes for each actor. As expected, the script calls for an appointed challenger to completely destroy the targeted president or anyone connected with his administration.  Inspired by his own ambition, and set ablaze by the collective anger and hatred of his entire pack for this one person, the challenger would do whatever it takes to finish the assignment and, under the watchful eye of the leader, strikes the fatal blow and swears that the accomplished task was  "done by the book."                              It's getting close to unveiling time, when recoils begin.                              Decoding the master villain's plan, exposing it, thus uncover                              His efforts to destroy a nation;  except one errant step sets in,                              And the schemer falls into the pit which he digs for another.  There were several errant steps that led to the uncovering of the plot.  They would have easily covered this up and pretend it never happened.  There was supposed to be a continuity of the Obama regime to the current one, as in spin offs -- i.e., Episode I and Episode II, inclusive.   Judging from media reports prior to election time, it seems no one in the team expected the final count weighing in from USA's magnificent deplorables.

The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
