Gjatë procesit të mësimdhënies në programin mësimor të lëndës së 'Gjuhës shqipe' është palnifikuar të zhvillohet edhe njësia mësimore për foljet e parregullta, mirëpo në çdo libër të gjuhës shqipe për shkollat llore ka shumë pak material për zgjedhimin e foljeve të parregullta, edhe atë vetëm për trajtën përfaqësuese, koha e kryer e thjeshtë dhe pjesorja e foljes, që zhvillohet. Gjithashtu edhe në gramatikën e gjuhës shqipe 'Morfologjia-1' janë dhënë pak sqarime për zgjedhimin e foljeve të parregullta, edhe pse në numër janë shumë pak. Qëllimi i këtij punimi është pasqyrimi i zgjedhimit të disa foljeve të parregullta dhe është i përqendruar në dy objektiva: • Pasqyrimi i të gjithë formave të foljeve të parregullta në të gjithë kohët e mënyrave vetore. • Të vërehen ndryshimet, që i pëson tema e foljes nga trajta përfaqësuese, në trajtën e kohës së kryer të thjeshtë dhe formës së pjesores. Fjalë kyçe: folje të parregullta, kuptimet modale themelore të foljeve, mënyrat, kohët.
