Obviously the legends are part of the oral tradition of the people, it is a very shared information and enriched with the popular tradition. Considering that on our territory, there are no official documents and that only certain isolated facts about the existence of the town circulate, we considered opportune to carry out this investigation, with the purpose of offering an idea about the existence of these cultural facts that have been transmitted from generation to generation, originating a process of transculturation.These legends are part of the cultural heritage of the inhabitants of Florencia, any Florencian and even children, can give you, in their popular slang, their version of these legends, there is an intrinsic joy and well-being in our inhabitants when they refer to this subject, because in any of the interpretations, two fundamental elements prevail; the beauty of our valleys and the love of Florencia, humble and hardworking woman, who put her efforts in the care of those men.
