Flight of the Raven continues the story of Jake as told in The Hermit of Puccini Ridge and Tales of Ravens Nest. Bernice, in her final days at Ravens Nest, discovers another set of writings, penned decades earlier as Jake crafted more stories based on his career and his thoughts in old age, including the subject of reincarnation. What happened to Ravens Nest and why did Jake hide this last group of stories? Jake and Rachel have long departed from their retirement retreat. Only Bernice, once the young protégé and assistant to the legendary Tori, remains. A catastrophic event occurs, which destroys the buildings and reveals a long-hidden cache. Jake shares more secrets and adventures while hinting at what comes next for him. Jake’s writings, tell of his work with the environment in Colorado and Utah. He recounts his experiences in land management.
