Sinopsis

As I write this, tears well up and fall upon the paper until the words become smeared and difficult to read. I really need to focus and concentrate on telling the rest of my story... How did I get involved in this madness? It's the 1940s and Britain is under attack from Nazi Germany. Amidst the turmoil of war and destruction, British factory-worker-turned-driver Hannah Mary Young decides to take control of her own life. As the war ravages around her and Hannah has to endure inconsolable loss, a train journey sets her on a path there is no coming back from.
