For over three decades, the town of Dingle was graced with a lovely resident the whole world came to know. Though for 37 years, they wondered if this would be the year that he would go They dreaded that day and didn’t know how they would react. The day they realized their beloved Fungie wasn’t coming back. The famous dolphin named Fungie who put Dingle on the map, was now gone forever and there was no looking back. Everyone was sad and the author wanted to give Fungie’s story a happier ending. So she re-wrote his ending, as a new adventurous beginning. This story tells everyone all about Fungie’s life in Dingle Bay, and what he did almost every single day -- which was filling everyone glee, that’s just who he was, Finn’s Friend Fungie. So even though he is gone from the town of Dingle, where everyone mentions his name whenever they mingle...
