Her life takes a twist when she lands a job at a haunted hotel in Santa Barbara, California during summer, the time of year when the most fortunate dogs wear shoes. Guests may pick rooms, except for rooms 208 and 210, with a view of the infamous plastic garden. The meals are incredible and the décor, dreadful. If guests are lucky, they may catch a glimpse of Whack, the German Shephard, bounding through the hotel hallways.
