It is a widely-believed theory that the past, present and future are all, inexorably, linked together - and that, if certain conditions are allowed to prevail, we can look into past or future events as though they persist in the present day. Unfortunately, such knowledge often comes at a price which those who might seek it are unwilling to pay - and the brief glimpses obtained by often dubious methods are sufficient to warn of the consequences thereby. For most people this thirst for knowledge of other times than their own is confined to foraging the shelves of a library - or a visit to some seaside teller of fortunes who has a gift of predicting things yet to come. Concealed among these fairly innocuous pastimes, however, are the perils of encountering some spirit or entity whose existence transcends the boundaries of time - and who, if given the opportunity, will take advantage of the susceptible mind. This is a tale of just such an individual - whose own quest for knowledge leads him seriously awry. May it serve as a warning to anyone who follows.........
