This book is based on the actual relationship between the author/illustrator Kristen J. Lloyd and her real cow, Honeybee. This story captures the spirit of their bond and shows what it truly means to Find Your Brave.Kristen J. Lloyd is a self-taught cartoonist, musician and western performer based in Midway, UT. She grew up on a dairy farm in Idaho and overcame abuse, trauma, and bullying by using her passions to keep her focus on the positive aspect of life.She has been recognized as the Cowboy Cartoonist of the year 2016 by the Academy of Western Artists, and recently graduated with a bachelor of music degree from Brigham Young University. She hopes to inspire others to rise above their challenges the way Honeybee inspired her.
