Three factors have motivated the author to write this book: his intimate 32 years of experience with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) victims, the fact that his research revealed that no single brief document exists to guide persons over 60 in developing effective strategies and measures to significantly delay the onset of AD and the fact that only about two percent of those over 60 years of age have any awareness of the life-destroying threat of Alzheimer’s. Therefore, the author has put together this comprehensive guide. Considering the explosive projected increase of AD from the current level of 5.3 million Americans to more than 10 million by 2025, there is a critical need to educate those over 60 about this deadly and enormous threat and get them to adopt the strategies and measures in this book to delay the seemingly inevitable onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
