FHB, Chosen Bible, Red Letter, Paperback, Divine Voice Color

RECEIVE THE FATHER. HEAR HIS VOICE. HIS HEART IS FOR YOU.The Chosen Bible, part of Father’s Heart Bible™ (FHB), is a color coded Bible for all the fatherless - foster youth, adoptive and foster families - the first Bible in print where you can see who is speaking. Our Father’s words in BLUE. The Son’s words in RED. The Spirit’s words in PURPLE.For a hundred and twenty-five years, the red letter Bible has shown you the Son speaking. Our Father speaks more than three times as often - 128,579 words across 5,615 verses - and every one of them has been printed in the same black ink as the genealogies. He has been speaking the whole time. No Bible has ever shown you where.BEFORE ANYONE CHOSE YOU, YOUR FATHER HAD ALREADY CHOSEN YOU. HE IS NOT A PLACEMENT, AND HE DOES NOT CHANGE HIS MIND.Scripture speaks to this directly, and it does not speak of the fatherless as a problem to be managed. It names our Father as the One who takes the place no one else took, and who settles the lonely into a family of His own making. 'A father to the fatherless and defender of widows is our Father in his holy dwelling.' - Psalm 68:5The Son said it Himself, and in these pages you will see His words in red: 'I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.' - John 14:18 It is a devotional Bible for daily Bible reading and intimacy with God, so you hear Him for yourself.A THREE COLOR BIBLE: RED LETTER, BLUE LETTER, PURPLE LETTERThe color is a mark of ownership, not of quotation. His words stay His on any lips that carry them faithfully, and words He never spoke are never colored. Our Father speaks 128,579 words here. The Son speaks 35,725. More than one word in four of this Bible is a divine person speaking.FATHER IS HIS NAMEGod is our Father. Not a role He plays. Father is who He is, and Father is His name, the name Jesus came to reveal: 'I revealed your name to those you gave me from the world' (John 17:6). This translation lets the Hebrew and Greek speak the distinction they always made: God as Father, Abba Father, your Heavenly Father - and you, His beloved child. If the word father is not a word of comfort for you, this Bible is especially for you. The Father revealed here is no projection of broken human fatherhood. He is the original, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.WHAT YOU WILL FIND INSIDEA single volume complete Bible - 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 31,085 versesAn introduction to each book, and a Father’s note closing every book with a short prayer1,355 study notes, including 31 on manuscript differencesA presentation page - a gift, and a keepsake worth handing onPaperback and hardcover, 6 x 9, full color throughout: a gift, a keepsake, an heirloomFor the fatherless, foster youth, and anyone raised without a father - a gift for a foster or adoptive family.ABOUT THIS TRANSLATIONFHB is a fresh translation from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, not adapted from any existing English Bible.
