La greffe d’os alvéolaire est une procédure standard pour la réhabilitation occlusale, esthétique et fonctionnelle des patients atteints de fente labiale et palatine. L’utilisation de cette technique permet de rétablir la continuité maxillaire, permettant l’éruption et le mouvement des dents grâce à la formation d’un pont osseux. Son taux de réussite variable est lié à des facteurs systémiques, chirurgicaux et socioculturels. Cette étude évaluera le taux de réussite des greffes d’os alvéolaire réalisées au Centrinho do Hospital Santo Antônio à Salvador-BA, entre janvier 2013 et décembre 2014. Les données des dossiers médicaux de l’échantillon de population seront utilisées, ainsi qu’un examen clinique et une évaluation des examens radiographiques. Les données épidémiologiques seront mises en corrélation avec les taux de réussite de cette procédure afin d’établir les causes possibles d’une mauvaise formation osseuse et d’une perte de greffe.
