Le livre a montré les rôles joués par les femmes migrantes Ejigbo dans les relations qui ont existé entre le peuple Ejigbo et le peuple d’Abidjan. Les femmes Ejigbo ont servi à divers titres à instaurer la paix entre les deux peuples. L’étude montre également que les femmes Ejigbo ont joué un rôle essentiel dans les relations socioculturelles et économiques qui existaient entre le peuple Ejigbo et le peuple d’Abidjan. Par conséquent, le rôle joué par ces femmes ne se limite pas à ce qui précède, il couvre également les domaines de développement observés dans les deux villes sur lesquelles cette étude s’est penchée jusqu’à présent. Cette étude a permis de mettre en lumière le rôle joué par les femmes d’Ejigbo dans le développement de la ville d’Ejigbo et d’Abidjan, leur communauté d’accueil.
