Primarily raised by his grandfather on a farm, Hank was introduced to the merit of hard work and belief that more was planned for his life. He started up the army ranks as a civilian payroll specialist, later becoming an Air Force fighter pilot during the Korean War. However, what defined his life most was witnessing God lead the way of faith for him as an international secretary for a Christian organization.
