The short-story, is one of the most important literary subgenres in Urdu literature, despite its relative youth. This was influenced by western and literary concepts and tendencies, as well as the contemporary industrial and mechanized environment. The stories written by the famous French writer Maurice Level are more closely related to human life. Although the background of these stories is based on horror, terror and the irony of fate, the heartbreak of the writer can still be heard between the lines of these stories.
