Während der nördliche Mombasa-Korridor durch eine starke oligopolistische Konzentration gekennzeichnet ist, die durch die Dominanz einer begrenzten Anzahl von Betreibern mit exklusiven Verhandlungsinstrumenten genährt wird, zeugen der zentrale und der südliche Daressalam-Korridor von einem stärker fragmentierten Wettbewerb, bei dem die Diversifizierung der Akteure und der Transportarten als ein Faktor für potenzielle Widerstandsfähigkeit und zur Senkung der Logistikkosten erscheint.Diese methodologische Triangulation - zwischen dokumentarischen Daten, formaler Modellierung und Feldberichten - garantiert die Robustheit der Analysen und die Relevanz der Empfehlungen.
