Faith Always Has An Object What you and I believe in is what we rely on to give us what we need and want. There are two important questions to consider: Is what (or Whom) we 'believe in' capable of giving us what we need for life? Is what we think we want the same as what we truly need?   Faith--Book 2 of the Upload Your Faith Series--answers questions about faith, shows how and why faith works, helps us identify weaknesses and strengths of our faith, challenges us to consider God as the ultimate source of faith, and gives insights on how faith enables us to overcome problems we face. Examples include how faith helps one overcome addictions and how faith helps one establish a positive self-identity. The goal of this book is to help readers grow in understanding and practicing genuine faith, thus becoming the person God created us to be. If you liked Faith: A Journey for All by Jimmy Carter, Unthinkable Faith by Tracie Miles, I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist by Normal L Geisler, or Fierce Faith by Alli Worthington, you are going to love and enjoy Faith: When the Son of Man Comes, Will He Find Faith On the Earth? By Jay Ashbaucher.   “Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world.' (1 John 5:4 isv)   ABOUT THE AUTHOR:  Originally from Ohio, Jay R. Ashbaucher earned an undergraduate degree in education and a master of divinity degree before serving forty-four years in Montana as a pastor and Bible teacher. He served twenty years as a fifth step counselor and lecturer in an alcohol and drug treatment center where he listened to countless stories of people’s broken lives and struggles to achieve wholeness. From them, he learned much about people and himself, which has helped in counseling individuals from all walks of life. He has enjoyed conducting grief classes, small groups, and teaching Philosophy of Christianity at a one-year wilderness Bible college. Now retired and living in Michigan, Jay continues his Bible teaching as an author, and together with his wife of fifty years, is enjoying life with family and grandkids.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
