A Indonésia é um país com muitos recursos naturais e, recentemente, a Indonésia necessita de investimentos no sector mineiro que atingiram IDR 830 triliões até 2014 no contexto do Plano Diretor para a Aceleração e Expansão do Desenvolvimento Económico da Indonésia (MP3EI). Para atingir o objetivo, o investigador analisa o efeito do sector mineiro de exportação, da taxa de câmbio e da taxa de juro no investimento direto estrangeiro no sector mineiro da Indonésia. Esta investigação mostra que a taxa de câmbio parcial tem uma influência significativa no sector mineiro do IDE na Indonésia, mas o sector mineiro de exportação e as taxas de juro não são significativos no sector mineiro do IDE na Indonésia. O sector mineiro de exportação tem um efeito positivo, enquanto a taxa de câmbio e as taxas de juro têm um efeito negativo no sector mineiro de IDE na Indonésia. Neste estudo, os factores macroeconómicos que influenciam o investimento direto estrangeiro no sector mineiro da Indonésia são as exportações mineiras, as taxas de câmbio e as taxas de juro. Este trabalho traz alguns benefícios para o investigador. Também pode contribuir para o governo da Indonésia, para a comunidade académica e, em especial, para o economista ou o próximo investigador.
