'Face to Face' derives from a simple and absolutely remarkable statement at the end of the book of Revelation: 'They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads' (Revelation 22:4). At the end of time God’s children, claimed by God and having exchanged mortality for immortality, will look into God’s lovely and loving eyes and will live, forever. Too often Revelation evokes fear and dread in its readers or is used as a tool to divide Christians. However, the reality of victory commenced and the promise of victory fully realized are incredibly encouraging. The hope of glory is the anchor of the Christian soul. This book provides fifty daily devotions based on Revelation that are practical, hopeful, and encouraging.Kenton J. Bruxvoort is a life-long student of the Bible and a long-time teacher of adult discipleship in Reformed and Lutheran churches. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree with a finance concentration. In his day job he is a civil engineer. He prepared these meditations as supplementary materials to a class taught at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Collins, Colorado on Revelation and Last Things. He is husband to Evelyn and father to three grown children, Kelsey, Griffin, and Michael.
