Ce travail a porté sur l’étude des effets de dopage de couches minces d’oxyde de zinc par des ions de terre rare sur leurs propriétés structurelles, morphologiques et optiques. Des films de ZnO individuels et dopés par l’europium ont été élaborés par électrodéposition directe à partir d’un bain nitrates sur un substrat en ITO. Un choix judicieux des paramètres de dépôt nous ont permis de mieux comprendre l’influence des dopants sur la structure des films de ZnO/Eu ainsi que sur leurs propriétés optiques. Les analyses par DRX, MEB et spectroscopie UV-VIS a permet de confirmer la formation de ZnO avec une structure hexagonale de type wurtzite. Les nanotiges de ZnO qui se développent à la surface sont bien alignés sous forme de bâtonnets hexagonaux qui donnent des émissions en UV et UV Visible. L’étude montre que l’insertion de l’europium dans la matrice du ZnO même en faible concentration provoque des modifications structurelles et optique.
