Extraterrestres en el sur de España propone una revisión histórica a la procedencia de los dioses considerados que bajaron del cielo en las primeras civilizaciones de la Humanidad, y se expandieron por todo el planeta, centrándonos en el Mediterráneo occidental con ocasión del 60º Aniversario del descubrimiento del tesoro del Carambolo (Camas, Sevilla). De esta forma, hemos pretendido realizar una investigación más profunda en cuanto a la influencia de deidades orientales que llegaron al sur peninsular a través de los contactos de los fenicios, griegos o romanos, considerados procedentes de la cultura mesopotámica que concebían 'extraterrestres' a sus dioses, justificando así este título que suena peyorativo en los círculos académicos.
