Exodus from the Church: Why the Christian Church Has Failed You is a powerful, eye-opening book that explains in-depth why the modern church and Christianity has not lived up to the hype it claims. This book is directed toward those who are currently involved in a church and for those who used to attend church. It explains why we don't see the same miracles that were done in the early church being produced today. You'll learn why every pastor over a congregation is deemed unqualified to lead the church and what truly qualifies a true pastor over God's flock. You will understand why so many of your prayers were never answered by God. This book arms you with simple tools to study the Scriptures. It will erase a lot of your confusion, and help you draw close to the understanding God intends for you to learn about Himself. This book will clear up confusion and set you on a clear path to having a solid relationship with Jesus Christ. About the Author J. Goodman III was born the son of a preacher and grew up in church his entire life. At the age of 14, in 1999, he made a serious commitment to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. From 1999 to 2001, he studied the Bible vigorously, in hopes of understanding all that he could about the Gospel in order to reach the world. It would be in 2001, at the age of 16, when the author discovered that the modern church was ineffective in today's world. The author began to question Christianity's legitimacy. This led to restlessness and also conflict with his father. Goodman departed to find the true God. In 2009, the author made the decision to never return to modern church. He began to re-learn the Bible again. He filtered out everything he had been taught by modern preachers, solely relying on Scripture alone, as it is written. From late-2013 to mid-2014, the author compiled everything he has learned in this book. He has found true religious freedom and hopes to pass it on to other believers in Christ. He is the founder of the Re-Education & Liberation of the Disciples of Christ movement. For booking or to learn more visit www.brotherjaygood.com

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
