La notion de précarité apparaît de plus en plus dans notre vocabulaire de tous les jours et dans toutes sortes de discours (politiques, culturels, sociaux, etc.). Cette fréquence du mot devenu par le fait même polysémique révèle incontestablement un problème fondamental et universel auquel se heurtent nos sociétés d’aujourd’hui. Il devient alors impératif d’examiner d’une part les usages du concept de précarité dans un contexte scientifique, celui notamment des diverses disciplines en SHS, d’autre part la diversité des réalités auxquelles il veut renvoyer. Au grand nombre de réflexions et de discussions déjà entamées autour de la précarité, cet ouvrage propose d’ajouter de nouvelles approches interdisciplinaires constituant une plateforme au dialogue entre disciplines ainsi qu’avec les travaux de terrain.
