Inhaltsangabe:Zusammenfassung: Die vorliegende Arbeit wurde unternommen, um deskriptive Informationen zum Eßverhalten von Patientinnen mit „Binge-Eating“-Störung zu erhalten. Dazu wurden Ernährungsprotokolle von 20 Frauen mit „Binge-Eating“-Störung (Experimentalgruppe) und 20 Frauen ohne Diagnose einer psychischen Störung (psychisch gesunde Kontrollgruppe) analysiert. Um das gestörte Eßverhalten bei Eßanfallssyptomatik vom störungstypischen Eßverhalten bei „Binge-Eating“-Störung abzugrenzen, wurden zudem 20 Frauen mit Bulimia Nervosa (klinische Kontrollgruppe) untersucht. Eßanfälle beider Patientinnengruppen enthielten überwiegend unauffällige Energiemengen. Die Experimentalgruppe protokollierte Eßanfälle, die sich von denen der klinischen Kontrollgruppe quantitativ und qualitativ unterscheiden. Es zeigte sich eine niedrigere Energiezufuhr sowie ein höherer Fettanteil und verminderter Kohlenhydratanteil. An Tagen ohne Eßanfälle fanden sich keine Unterschiede zwischen der Experimentalgruppe und den Kontrollgruppen. Die Ergebnisse weisen in beiden Patientinnengruppen auf einen normalgesunden, ungezügelten Eßstil an Tagen ohne Eßanfälle hin. Die klinischen Gruppen können hinsichtlich der Nahrungsaufnahme bei Eßanfällen, nicht jedoch bei regulären Mahlzeiten, voneinander unterschieden werden. Den größtenteils unauffälligen Kalorienaufnahmen bei Eßanfällen zufolge sollte das DSM-IV-Diagnosekriterium „übermäßige Energiezufuhr bei Eßanfällen“ überdacht werden.
