Eve Nicklin fue una de las primeras pioneras bahá’ís estadounidenses en establecerse en Sudamérica. Pasó cinco décadas de su vida enseñando la Fe bahá’í. Durante ese período se estableció en doce ciudades en seis países de América del Sur. Eve, una educadora talentosa, atrajo a la Fe a personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida, desde campesinos a profesores universitarios, ya fuera el ciudadano de a pie o el dignatario de una ciudad o país, personas pobres y personas ricas, tanto jóvenes como mayores. Cada vez que se necesitaba que alguien se estableciera en el extremo más austral y helado del continente o en el corazón mismo de las montañas de los Andes, Eve fue siempre la primera en aceptar con alegría el llamado. Su vida se caracterizó por su profunda e indubitable creencia de que las enseñanzas bahá’ís eran el medio para transformar a los individuos y a las sociedades con el fin de lograr la unidad de los seres humanos, la paz entre pueblos y naciones y el desarrollo de una civilización en constante progreso.
