Le système microPET/CT est un équipement important utilisé dans la recherche en imagerie diagnostique chez les petits animaux. Le produit radiopharmaceutique le plus couramment utilisé dans cette technologie est le fluorodésoxyglucose marqué au fluor-18. L’objectif de cette étude est d’effectuer un contrôle radiologique dans le laboratoire de recherche microPET/CT du Centre de radiopharmacie IPEN-CNEN/SP, afin de répondre à la fois aux normes nationales et aux recommandations internationales. Le laboratoire est classé par l’équipe de radioprotection de l’établissement comme une zone surveillée, dans laquelle, bien que l’adoption de mesures de protection et de sécurité spécifiques ne soit pas obligatoire, des réévaluations régulières des conditions de l’environnement de travail doivent être effectuées. Afin d’assurer la radioprotection des travailleurs directement impliqués dans la manipulation de l’équipement, une surveillance du lieu de travail et une évaluation du contrôle des doses individuelles ont été effectuées.
