Cette étude explore le potentiel des fibres d’ortie en tant que matériau de renforcement naturel pour les composites polymères, en tirant parti de leur teneur élevée en cellulose et de leur ténacité. Les fibres d’ortie sont combinées à un matériau de remplissage et à une résine pour fabriquer des composites, dont le comportement mécanique et thermique est ensuite testé. Les résultats montrent que les modifications du pourcentage de charge améliorent la liaison interphase fibre/matrice, augmentant ainsi la résistance à la traction et à la flexion du composite. La fibre de chitosan est utilisée comme charge écologique pour améliorer la stabilité thermique du composite. L’étude démontre le potentiel des composites à base de fibres d’ortie pour l’automobile, les panneaux d’avion et les outils de précision, offrant une alternative naturelle, durable et écologique aux matériaux composites traditionnels. L’utilisation de la fibre de chitosan comme charge écologique améliore encore la stabilité thermique du composite, ce qui en fait un matériau prometteur pour diverses applications industrielles.
