Diese Phosphate bestehen aus Apatit mit einer stark karbonathaltigen Gangart und bedeutenden Substitutionen, die enorme Schwierigkeiten bei der Gewinnung verursachen. Die Anreicherungsfähigkeit hängt eng mit dem Grad der Vergesellschaftung der Mineralien, ihrer Textur und der Art der Mineralien, die Verunreinigungen tragen, zusammen.
