L’abus de substances est un problème clinique important qui touche un grand nombre de personnes dans le monde. Ce livre examine la littérature sur le concept de tolérance à la détresse, l’acceptabilité du traitement et la thérapie d’acceptation et d’engagement dans le monde des addictions, et cherche à montrer comment l’ACT peut être une intervention utile pour cette population. Le premier chapitre est une revue de la littérature sur le concept de tolérance à la détresse et le sevrage tabagique. Le deuxième chapitre est une enquête qualitative sur l’acceptabilité de l’ACT dans le domaine clinique de la toxicomanie. Le troisième chapitre est un document de réflexion qui examine la relation du chercheur principal avec l’ACT. Ce livre s’adresse aux praticiens et aux chercheurs qui s’intéressent à ces concepts apparemment liés.
