Este estudo foi realizado no âmbito de um mestrado em Ciências e Técnicas das Actividades Socioeducativas (STASE) no INJEPS/UAC.Estabeleceu uma relação entre as doenças ligadas à água, à higiene e ao saneamento no Togo, na prefeitura de Danyi e no cantão de Danyi Apéyémé, e a situação socioeconómica das famílias. Neste estudo, o objetivo era compreender claramente o ponto de vista e a perceção das famílias. O autor conseguiu demonstrar que as doenças têm um impacto negativo na vida socioeconómica das famílias. Como resultado, foram propostas soluções alternativas.
