O objetivo deste estudo é mostrar como as plataformas de meios digitais e as subvenções podem ser uma parte influente nos esforços de angariação de fundos de uma organização sem fins lucrativos. Neste estudo, estes vários elementos foram explorados e implementados na Associação Ashadeep. A utilização de conteúdos, gráficos, estatísticas, a compreensão da mentalidade do doador e as suas preferências podem ter um grande impacto no tipo de instituição de caridade para a qual os doadores estão mais dispostos a contribuir. As instituições de solidariedade social precisam de conhecer o seu público-alvo antes de criarem uma estratégia de angariação de fundos. Enquanto algumas pessoas podem estar mais inclinadas a doar para uma instituição de caridade para cães, outras podem estar mais interessadas em ajudar crianças, pessoas sem-abrigo ou a preservar a natureza. Outras organizações sem fins lucrativos ou de beneficência podem utilizar os resultados deste estudo para aprenderem e adaptarem as suas estratégias de angariação de fundos, de modo a atrair mais doadores e voluntários.
